Character Creator
Create and play as a custom character!
Choose between Lady and Lord.
Create a unique look for Aristocrat and Hunter forms.
Choose starting traits that improve some of your skills.
The story adapts to the character you create.
Share your character with others by sharing the character file! You can find it here: C:\\Users\\USERNAME\\AppData\\Local\\VBR\\Saved\\SaveGames - "CharacterProfileX"
Story Improvements
The structure of quests in the onboarding section has been changed.
Added a new dialogue with Razvan during the first encounter at his hideout.
Added two new quests in Hell’s Chasm and improved existing ones.
Expanded the first conversation with Reveka with new dialogue options.
Expanded Reveka’s storyline with updated dialogue flow after key story events.
Improved dialogue flow with Razvan after unlocking Fey Marshes.
Added new Vampire one-liners.
Added new Inquisitor one-liners.
Added new introductory dialogues with villagers across Hell’s Chasm, Grove of Sorrows, and Fey Marshes.
Added new player voice lines when banishing vampires.
Added new player and Coachman voice lines for fast travel interactions.
Bug Fixes
Stability & Visual Effects
Improved stability when switching between different upscaling technologies and Frame Generation modes.
Implemented damage-received VFX for humanoid Inquisition enemies.
World & Environment
Improved collision for large Sacred Wood trees in Grove of Sorrows.
Adjusted placement of a lamp post near the bridge in Medresti.
Adjusted tree collision in the early game area.
Fixed lava damage detection in certain areas of Hell’s Chasm.
Improved road visuals and mesh blending in Grove of Sorrows.
Improved rock formations and terrain alignment in Hell’s Chasm.
Fixed floating environmental props near Medresti.
Fixed incorrect navigation areas causing NPCs to appear in unintended locations.
Improved lighting placement in Hell’s Chasm villages.
Improved collision and boundaries in Inquisition Prison.
Added more level art improvements to Smugglers Hideout.
Resources & Gathering
Adjusted resource balance by adding more resource sources in selected areas and increasing the availability of certain materials.
Fruit of Sorrows is now highlighted by Beast Vision.
Improved Fruit of Sorrow spawn locations to ensure they are accessible to players.
Fixed an issue where Vampire Tears did not count as gems for the “Weakness for Shiny Stones” quirk.
Building & Customization
Wooden triangular wall pieces now correctly support material customization and previews.
Fixed an issue where limestone inner corner roof pieces could not be painted correctly.
Fixed an issue where limestone roof walls could not be painted or customized correctly.
Fixed an issue where the Library name was missing in the Management window.
Gamepad
Fixed controller navigation in the Management menu automatically selecting the first inventory slot when opening a servant’s inventory.
Fixed hidden focus highlight frames appearing and shifting in the Management menu after pressing TAB.
Fixed coffins and stations being assigned to the previously selected servant instead of the servant currently being managed.
Fixed menu navigation effects remaining active after closing and reopening tabs while holding RMB.
Fixed the mouse cursor appearing unexpectedly and causing camera control to be lost while using a controller.
Fixed controller focus resetting to the first slot whenever a servant’s inventory is refreshed in the Management menu.
Fixed controller focus being able to move outside UI bounds, causing input control to be lost in the Game Settings menu.
Fixed broken tooltip formatting when navigating the Skills tab with a controller.
Improved gamepad navigation and focus behavior in the Compendium.
Fixed unintended UI focus highlights appearing in Journal and Management screens.
Known Issues
The Hunter mask does not yet fit all of the new Character Creator head shapes and facial deformations, which may result in visible clipping or misalignment.
In the Player Inventory preview, female body types may sometimes display male clothing.
After loading a save, characters using Aristocrat mode may temporarily appear with an incorrect body type until the character form is changed or the Inventory screen is displayed.
If you encounter quest synchronization issues or quest progression problems as a client in multiplayer, please reconnect to the session. This should resolve the issue.
