changedValor Mortis is launching in Fall 2026!In it, you’ll see some of the features, enemies and environments we’ve been working on. We've still only shown a small fraction of what the game has to offer so stay alert for more news to come!
addedNew FeaturesThis trailer reveals many new environments that showcase the beautiful architecture of the early 1800s. You'll encounter soldiers and townspeople corrupted by nephtoglobin in these desolate city streets. Is this what The Emperor intended?
addedNew FeaturesFans of our previous Ghostrunner games will be excited to see that we are incorporating first-person parkour action . William’s ties to the nephtoglobin will grant him the ability to grapple through the air, wall run across cliffs, and manipulate terrain to get to new vantage points for combat.
addedNew FeaturesWe also reveal a new weapon, the Rapier . While it may not seem that different from the sabre at first glance, it plays quite differently. The Rapier specializes in parrying and targeting enemy weakpoints for a high risk, high reward play style. In the playtest, weakpoints had to be pierced by a pistol bullet, but the rapier grants this power to your melee weapon.
addedNew FeaturesFinally, there’s a new, and frankly, disgusting boss fight. You'll need to discover the rest of their story for yourself, but we can't wait to show you all the crazy boss fight ideas we've been working on. We know they are a staple of any soulslike experience.

New Features
This trailer reveals many new environments that showcase the beautiful architecture of the early 1800s. You'll encounter soldiers and townspeople corrupted by nephtoglobin in these desolate city streets. Is this what The Emperor intended?

The Sprint to Launch
This also marks our sprint to the final stretch of development. There's still a lot to do as we push towards launch in Fall 2026! Since Ghostrunner 2, we have been working very hard to craft Valor Mortis as the biggest game our studio has ever made.
We know that we'll need to prove ourselves. We don't think anyone has mixed first-person perspective and the soulslike genre in this way before. So far, we've already used lots of your feedback from the original playtest but we will be looking for more people to try the game soon.
Please join our Discord server where we will share opportunities to play Valor Mortis and all of these new mechanics!
