fixedAhead of the upcoming Steam Next Fest, we have just deployed a massive technical and tactical update (v0.1.2) alongside an immediate balance hotfix based directly on community feedback!
addedOur goal is to make the experience challenging but fair, ensuring you have the room to learn and experiment with the core mechanics. Here is the complete breakdown of what’s new:
changed🛠️ EARLY-GAME PACING & BALANCE TWEAKS
changedMore Starting Food: When placing your initial camp, you will now receive an extra +100 Food alongside other resources to eliminate immediate starvation.
addedNew Safe Plains Area: Added an accessible plains area on the right side of the map, providing a safe clearing to set up your camp. * Repositioned Elite Threats: High-end monsters (Cyclops, etc.) have been pushed further toward the center of the map, creating a safer starting bubble with smaller encounters.
changedOakTree (Treeman) Balancing: The OakTree is a direct punishment for heavy deforestation, but we have nerfed its health to 1400 HP (for context, the King has 900 HP) so you have a fighting chance!

🛠️ EARLY-GAME PACING & BALANCE TWEAKS

  • New Safe Plains AreaAdded an accessible plains area on the right side of the map, providing a safe clearing to set up your camp. * Repositioned Elite Threats: High-end monsters (Cyclops, etc.) have been pushed further toward the center of the map, creating a safer starting bubble with smaller encounters.

⚔️ COMBAT PHYSICS & SQUAD RESPONSIVENESS (v0.1.2) *

  • Tactical Stances: Fully integrated active formation matrices. Use defensive stances like "Stand Ground" to hold lines dynamically.

  • Dynamic Combat UI: Overhauled the Tier and Health medalion overlays so they drain fluidly, giving you absolute visual clarity during chaotic clashes.

We are also actively working on adding more visual clarity, building silhouettes, and extensive tooltips to make the systems as intuitive as possible.

Thank you for playing, keep the feedback coming, and don't forget to wishlist the full game!
