This update is a major localization pass plus a batch of bug, balance, and exploit fixes. Most of the game's remaining English-only flavor text is now fully translated into Hungarian, Spanish, French, and Italian, and several issues raised by players are resolved.

Localization

A large amount of text that was previously English-only now displays in your selected language:

  • Boss dialogue: the seven Old Gods (and the hidden Noctura betrayal fight), the eight world bosses, and the four secret lore bosses now speak in your language from start to finish.

  • Dungeon riddles: all 51 riddles are translated, and you can now type your answer in your own language (the original English answers still work too). Wordplay and letter riddles were adapted so they stay solvable.

  • Beast taming and wilderness: the taming text and the foraging, ruins, and traveler encounters out in the wild.

  • Rest dreams and dungeon visions: the dreams you have while resting and the visions the dungeon shows you.

  • Companion banter: your companions' idle remarks, navigation suggestions, and backtracking comments while you explore.

  • Magic shop owner: Ravanella's full conversation, including her race-based greeting.

  • And more: herb names, the party XP-split screen, equipment slot names when gearing up teammates, the weekly-rank login message, the companion mana-siphon message, and the Anchor Road graphical menu labels.

World boss fights now also play their spawn and defeat narration (this text existed in the data but was never shown), so the fights open and close with proper drama.

Fixed: in Hungarian and French, the wounded-traveler dungeon event displayed its gold reward on the "chivalry gained" line, so it looked like you gained thousands of chivalry. The reward you actually received was always correct; only the message text was wrong.

Gameplay and Bug Fixes

  • Spouse interaction restored (online): some married players could not talk to, re-equip, or take their spouse into the dungeon. The link between the marriage and the live character could go stale and break every spouse menu at once. The game now reconnects it by name on login, so the spouse works everywhere again. Lovers are covered by the same fix.

  • NPC diversity: a bug caused lesbian townsfolk to be mislabeled and slowly vanish from the world over time. They now generate correctly, existing mislabeled NPCs self-correct on world load, and overall representation was rebalanced.

  • Conversations: leaving a townsperson conversation now takes a single, predictable press instead of sometimes two or three. This is a screen-reader friendliness fix.

Balance and Exploit Fixes

  • Monster stuns: seven monster stun abilities (the Wild Boar's Crushing Blow, plus Boulder, Lightning, Earthquake, Engulf, Tentacle Grab, and Whirlpool) were lasting zero effective rounds and did nothing. They now correctly skip one of your turns, matching the stuns that already worked.

  • Lifedrinker and Siphon enchants: a previous fix accidentally stopped these life-steal and mana-steal enchants from working when placed on armor, rings, or other non-weapon gear. They once again add up across all your equipment, while still keeping the dual-wield rule that each weapon's leech only triggers on its own swing.

  • Druid's Shrine: the pilgrimage could be repeated with no cooldown, letting players farm shrine favor (and its permanent rewards) far faster than intended. You can now only attune once per attunement period, and the menu shows how long remains before you can attune again.
