Update 4 is out, just make sure to update your game on Steam.
This patch features new content, some QOL improvements, optimizations and a new NPC spawning system.
Resources
Resources now have types: light, light tree, heavy tree, light rock and heavy rock. The mining tools can now mine specific types of resources instead of specific resources. And there are a bunch of new resources in this update.
Buildings
There are 2 new buildings in the game. Some of the building's 3d models were updated as well. And new crafting recipes.
NPCs
NPC spawning was changed, yet again. When an NPC spawns, it doesn't aggro right away unless you attack it. Most of the time, they just walk around. However, if you get near an enemy hut like the Idillo hut, it will spawn an enemy that will aggro right away. There is one new enemy type in the game.
New items
There are 15 new items in this update.
Other stuff
There are now volume sliders for music, SFX and UI in the settings, if you want to change the volume of the different parts of the audio.
And there is a console in the game that you can open with F1. The console is mostly for debugging purposes and will print out a message if there is something noteworthy from the game's backend.
Because I don't want to spoil too much, I'm going to keep these posts shorter, like this one and highlight only some aspects of these updates.
