Gameplay

  • Changed map activation when assigning a task.

  • Added a reset for Hold Breath whenever aiming is deactivated. It is no longer necessary to press Shift twice to hold breath.

  • Added weapon switching with the mouse wheel.

  • Adjusted the grenade position when held in the hand.

  • Added the ability to open the map while inside a vehicle.

  • Finalized weapon switching using the mouse wheel.

  • Fixed incorrect weapon switching after a weapon was dropped from the inventory.

  • Fixed duplicate spawning of pickup objects into the player’s hands if the player was holding a pickup, such as a grenade, knife, or dynamite, when saving the game.

  • Fixed incorrect pickup display when the pickup was no longer in the inventory.

  • Fixed damage not being applied after being hit by a vehicle.

  • Fixed vehicle wheel steering by correcting the input setup.

  • Adjusted the driving behavior of the Opel Blitz and Kübelwagen.

  • Fixed incorrect magazine count calculations.

  • Fixed an issue with grenades and other pickups jumping or skipping unexpectedly.

  • Fixed an incorrect tag in the Physical Volume that prevented tank drowning from being activated.

  • Marker visibility is now enabled by default.

  • Added functional marker hiding.

  • Adjusted the aiming position of the MP40. The weapon should no longer clip into the camera.

  • Fixed the layout of inventory icons.

  • Fixed inactive physics on pickups dropped from the inventory.

  • Markers can now be attached to actors and follow their position.

  • Destructible objects can now be destroyed with melee weapons.

  • Tanks can no longer be destroyed with grenades again.

  • Vehicles and static weapons, such as machine guns, can be destroyed with grenades, but grenade damage against them is reduced.

  • Renamed difficulty levels.

  • Vehicles can now be penetrated by bullets.

AI & NPC

  • Added experimental settings for animation source optimization on NPCs.

  • Added experimental settings for component deactivation based on the distance between the player and NPCs.

  • Changed collision settings for the player and NPCs. It should no longer be possible to push vehicles.

  • NPCs should no longer get stuck in a jump state, which could occur during frequent stance changes.

  • Removed ray tracing from MTH NPC hair.

Systems

  • Fixed duplicate Enhanced Input actions that blocked mouse wheel rotation for weapon switching.

  • Fixed incorrect activation of icons for objects held in the hand.

  • Assigned the correct classes for SFX volume control.

  • Integrated the Sentry SDK for crash and error reporting.

  • Added a new manager for read documents.

  • Localized dialogues now use the correct class for volume control.

  • Fixed tank tag assignment in the map where tanks must be destroyed.

  • Fixed inactive spawn point logic.

  • Fixed sound position evaluation.

  • Made a small adjustment to the HUD layout.

  • Added a new hitbox system.

  • Added an Audio Volume for suppressing interior sounds when listening from the exterior and for activating the correct audio profiles.

Assets & Data

  • Added new axe animations: equip, unequip, and attack.

  • Adjusted the volume of individual weapon and impact sounds.

  • Adjusted footstep volume.

  • Added correct Physical Materials for objects in the cave.

  • Added a new tutorial image to the shooting range.

  • Disabled ray tracing support for various grass types.

  • Added an In-game Navigation section to the Field Manual.

  • Added new weapon sounds.

  • Trees and bushes now have collisions.
