Thank you so much to everyone who plays the demo! Gameplay

  • Fixed weapon muzzle flashes.

  • Adjusted the lifecycle of empty shell casings.

  • Improved attachment handling, including bayonets.

  • Improved hit detection and damage evaluation for grenades.

  • Added bullet whizzing sounds near the player’s head.

  • Split hit zones for the player and NPC skeletons, including different hit sounds.

  • Expanded object interaction so interactions trigger more smoothly and earlier.

  • Added camera limits for standing, prone movement, and ladder climbing.

  • Improved the prone system for NPCs.

  • Added correct knife damage.

  • Killing a friendly NPC with a knife now ends the game.

  • Updated the death menu text depending on what happened.

  • Adjusted weapon sway for the Sten MK2, MP40, and MP34.

  • Weapons now change their spread based on player or NPC movement, and depending on whether the character is aiming or firing from the hip.

  • Certain weapon types can now remove limbs.

  • Grenades and dynamite now have different VFX.

  • Items dropped from the inventory now correctly have physics enabled again.

  • Limited interactions while looting.

  • Fixed an issue with picking up dynamite when the player already had grenades in the inventory.

  • Ammo spawned in crates is now based on difficulty.

  • Vehicles can now sink in water.

  • Fixed an issue where the player could incorrectly turn into water when exiting a vehicle in water.

  • Restart now correctly restarts the entire level.

AI & NPC

  • Tuned general NPC behavior.

  • Adjusted NPC reaction speed to sounds.

  • Fixed NPC behavior where their capsule could rotate incorrectly after an explosion.

  • Fixed NPC rotation when turning toward a location where they heard something.

  • NPCs are now destroyed together with vehicles when needed.

  • Fixed NPC inventory duplication during loading.

  • Added Smart Objects for NPC interaction with objectives.

  • Created a patrol point subsystem compatible with the current navigation system.

  • Created a navigation map for the Main Base.

  • NPCs now crawl after losing a leg.

  • NPCs can no longer shoot after losing an arm.

  • Added new NPC voice lines.

  • Expanded the sound-blocking calculation function with a player-distance condition.

Systems

  • Removed wind from SK trees, as it was causing crashes due to a known engine issue.

  • Removed the system that swapped instances for actors with simulated physics. It remains only in the test map for debugging.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the tank to disappear when saving during missions.

  • Added global illumination control directly from the Level Manager.

  • Removed the automatic instancing system, which caused issues with destroying certain actors.

  • Fixed an issue where sound volume could not be controlled from the menu.

  • Improved ammo loading during loading screens and level transitions.

  • Fixed light state loading when transitioning between levels.

  • Added weather settings to the game options.

  • Added an optional setting for displaying the navigation marker in screen space.

  • Fixed incorrectly configured instances for Lumen support.

  • Fixed the Motion Matching trace channel setup.

  • Adjusted physical materials.

Assets & Data

  • Added a new weapon: MP34.

  • Updated animations for the MP40 and Sten MK2.

  • Expanded the animation blueprint for prone movement.

  • The Main Base received a visual upgrade.

  • Updated the objective for demo mission 04.

  • Added a side objective from a new character.

  • Tuned the level focused on destroying two tanks.

  • Added new hint images.
