UniverCity changes
A quick update to try and improve on some of the issues that have been reported or I've noticed when seeing others play. I've been keeping the Trello up to date with what I've worked on this week so if you want to follow and comment on things as they happen that is a good place to do it.
Fixed staff not asking for raises if they had already asked and received during a session. Should fix the issue of staff quitting suddenly.
Implemented an in-game clock. This will display the date, time (between 8am and 4pm) and what the current period is.
Rooms now list the staff required to run them.
The console now logs the SteamID of the player connecting/disconnecting in multiplayer, was added by request.
The icons of notifications now appear in the center of the screen and fly to the edge, should help make them more noticeable as notifications are normally far away from where you are normally looking.
Rooms now warn when are missing the required staff to function. This currently doesn't warn if the room wants extra staff because they can function without them.
Adjusted the price calculation for professors, now increases by 2% every 3 days instead of 4%. The calculation was also modified to widen the gap between staff pay.
Fixed giving a bonus also inspecting the entity.
The cheat
/moneypls
has been changed to match the cheat
/studentspls
and now accepts the amount to give as a parameter instead of always giving 500k.
Moved the edit room action from "Right Click" to a button on the action bar. You now have to click this button and then click the room to edit.
Prevent doors from being placed on rooms from buildings. This was allowed by mistake and made it possible to place them in invalid locations causing crashes. These doors will be removed as part of the update.
