Some neat updates:
Removed a really cool glitch where sometimes, after all your hard work of buying a chip you wanted, it would randomly just... not appear in your inventory. I know, was really cool and I am sure a lot of people loved it when that happened. But this is for the best, I promise.
Yellow chips now give you a higher crit rate chance. Now you have an actual excuse to use it, 'cause running fast isn't cool enough.
The player stat bar now shows a much better representation of your current build. AKA, the bars increase faster so it looks like you are actually making progress. That seems important.
Removed some old code that made the shield powerup item randomly disappear on a timer. I can't imagine how scary that had to be in the middle of a boss fight.
Enemies health scales even less. So, hopefully, by the end of the game, they won't feel like invincible tanks.
Planets "Enemy Presence" fills up a lot slower. It used to be next to impossible to maintain, but now if you are resourceful, you can even go as far as reducing all planets to 10%.
