UNDERWARD changes
※ You cannot match with players using different versions, so please update to the latest version (v1.0.2.0, displayed in the bottom left corner of the title screen) before playing.
Update Details for 1.0.2.0
In solo play, a respawn system has been implemented, allowing players to respawn at the elevator after being captured.
The item inventory limit in solo play has been increased to 6 slots.
Using the Ampoule Gun in solo play now grants an extra respawn.
The map layout for the Entry Test in solo play has been changed to a dedicated version.
Capsule transportation speed now adjusts based on the number of players at the start of the game. (In solo play, speed is significantly increased. There are no changes when starting with 4 players.)
Fixed a bug where trap-type monsters would sometimes not attack players even if they remained within range for an extended period. (Since this increased difficulty, the affected range has been slightly reduced.)
Added an upscaling (FSR) feature in the GRAPHICS options. Enabling this can improve performance, especially in high-resolution environments.
Fixed an issue where the cardboard mimic monster would sometimes contain no items when opened.
Added a room name input/display feature to make it easier to recruit players.
Implemented measures to prevent excessive glitch abuse that forcefully moves capsules on certain floors.
Minor Fixes
Adjusted the brightness of certain items (e.g., flash grenades) to prevent them from being excessively bright and causing player disadvantages.
Added a Ping display in the lobby and pause menu to show connection status between host and clients.
Added blood arrow guides to the map on the 4th floor to improve navigation.
Fixed an issue where some roaming monsters could become stuck.
Optimized performance in the lobby screen, which was causing unnecessary processing load.
Various minor bug fixes and feedback-based improvements.
Known Issues
Game fails to launch or shows a memory shortage error. → Please check if your PC meets the minimum system requirements listed on the store page.
Game performance is sluggish despite meeting system requirements and using optimal quality settings. → Updating your NVIDIA drivers to the latest version may resolve this issue. Please try this and see if it helps.
Game crashes under specific conditions. → We hope this was resolved in the last update, but if you still experience crashes, please report them via the form below: https://forms.gle/NB88NzwcRNVaWJFp9
Lighting may not display correctly when using Low or Middle quality settings. → Depending on your machine’s specs, lowering the resolution while setting quality to High may provide better performance without impacting gameplay.
Performance drops when playing on a 4K display in borderless mode or at 4K resolution. → Enabling the upscaling (FSR) option may significantly improve performance.
Desynchronization issues causing inconsistencies in gameplay. → This is more likely to occur if the host's environment is unstable. If possible, we recommend assigning the host role to a player with a stable connection and good performance.
Upcoming Updates
Fixes for known issues.
Ability to start from specific floors.
Improvements to lighting settings based on quality settings and further performance optimization.
Enhancements to the item slot system.
Addition of an ON/OFF option for motion blur.
Display of results for time attack mode.
A highly randomized new map or game mode (not in the immediate future, but planned).
That’s all for this update! We’re committed to making the game even more enjoyable for everyone, and we truly appreciate your continued support.
