Repeated intro
Hello adventurers… gather ‘round, we’ve got an update from the frontlines!

What are we working on now?
Development is forging ahead - and right now, we're tackling very critical elements. Hero Skills. Balancing the number, making them fun, and ensuring every skill feels meaningful? It's a boss fight of its own.
Fun fact: Classic RPGs averaged 7–9 skills per hero – and we’re sticking to that spirit. Instead of diving into overly complex skill trees, we’ve chosen a more focused approach: classic levelable skills.
But don’t be fooled by the simplicity – we’re aiming for smarter design. Take the warrior, for example: specializing early in axes might feel rewarding… until you stumble upon an epic sword. Oops. We’re working to minimize moments like that, without sacrificing depth or replayability.
Another key area we’re fine-tuning is combat complexity - things like stats, battle mechanics, and negative traits. Our goal is to hit a sweet spot: not overwhelming, but rich with proven RPG delights like Burn, Bleed, Freeze, Stun, or Poison.
And yes - each class will feature unique late-game specializations to unlock as you level up. We want your build choices to feel both personal and powerful. Unfortunately, most of these things are still on paper. Which brings us to the next point.
Demo delayed
We’ve made the tough call to delay the demo to later this year. Right now, several critical elements just aren’t in place: music, events, and some key gameplay mechanics.
We’d rather show you something polished and exciting, than rush out a half-working version. We truly believe this is the right call – and we hope you’ll agree once you see what’s coming.
And good news: we’ve started working with a talented visual person who's helping us create event graphic. These will breathe life into in-game events, offering both classic and unique choices inspired by old-school favorites like Eye of the Beholder.
Also with all the moving parts and the growing scope, the thought of doing an Early Access release has popped. Would that be something you’d be interested in?
As always – thanks for being part of this journey. Your support means the world.
