Let’s be honest - every good dungeon crawl starts the same way: with a locked door, zero context, and a party that looks like it was thrown together by a drunk wizard on a deadline.

As we continue digging deeper into the cursed catacombs and haunted mines, it’s time to answer a question many of you have been asking: “ Who the heck am I bringing into this deathtrap with me?

In the demo, you’ll be playing with a pre-built party to give you a taste of the game’s tone, mechanics and of course - races. Today, we’re introducing two of them in detail.

HOREMOUNT – ROCK HARD, THINK SLOW

If you ever wondered what it’s like to give a walking boulder a sword and a personal vendetta, meet the Horemount. Towering stone warriors from the frostbitten northern mountains, these living slabs of granite have been forged by howling winds, freezing blizzards, and a complete lack of social skills.

They hit like falling anvils and shrug off damage like it’s an annoying breeze. Just don’t ask them to solve a riddle or use a magic scroll - they’ll either stare blankly or eat it.

Let’s be honest: you guessed this guy’s gonna be your Warrior. Big health pool, big hammer, small attention span. But hey, somebody has to stand in front of the traps and take the arrow to the stone.

RAVEN – MUTANT LIZARD THING WITH ISSUES

Say hello to the Raven. This race of lizard mutants hails from a land so toxic, even the mushrooms wear gas masks. Every Raven is a grab bag of strange mutations - some grow extra eyes, others spit acid, and some... spontaneously combust. We’re still figuring that one out.

The cool part? No two Ravens are ever exactly the same. Each playthrough, your Raven might have different resistances, senses, or weird biological “features”.

What about normal people?

We hear some of you saying: “Alright, that’s cool and all, but what if I don’t want to play as a rock brute or a rogue cockroach?”

Don’t worry - we haven’t forgotten the good old classic fantasy races. In the full game, you can absolutely expect to see the likes of the Human (the jack-of-all-trades, master of none, hero of many), the Dwarf and yes - something Elf-adjacent.

So tell us – what is your favourite race you usually play or you wish to see?

Until next time: watch your step and remember - if the chest has teeth, maybe don’t open it.
