Greeting Villeins!
As some of you may have seen hinted at, I've been working on a pretty significant patch for Under The Yoke since the launch of Silk Roads II: Paths of Fortune. While there is still some work to be done on it, I hope to have it in a playable state this month, as such, I think it's time we start showing off some of the new features.
Steam post imageHere you'll see some pretty dramatic changes to one of the systems in the game, and an entirely new system along with some long requested features. The more eagle eyed among you may also note some hints to additional new mechanics, and those of you with X-ray vision would be able to see some upgrades to the UI that I've stolen wholesale from Silk Roads II (is it stealing when it's from your own project?).
I don't want to spoil it all for you just now so I'll leave you all to discuss. However, I will say, this is REALLY going to shake up the way the game is played. I have frankly hit the limit of what I can do with Under The Yoke and any further changes would require UTY:II so I'm excited to leave this game knowing it's the best it can be.
