5 years after the release of Silk Roads: Caravan Kings, I'm so pleased to announce the official launch of Silk Roads II. Being able to revisit this fascinating slice of history and create the game I wanted to build 5 years ago has been nothing short of amazing and I appreciate everyone who's been along for the ride, I hope you pick it up and see just how far it's come.
Under The Yoke
For those of you who read our discussions page you might be wondering what this means for Under The Yoke as I had metioned patching the game after Silk Roads II: Paths of Fortune releases.
That planned patch is still going ahead, but there are going to be far more significant changes than I had originally anticipated.
I don't want to spoil too much now, but the planned changes will rework the vast majority of mechanics in the game in some way or another, changing not only how you play and interact with the game but the balancing and stripping back the micro-management, also taking some lessons learned from Silk Roads II to improve performance.
I'm incredibly excited for you all to get it in your hands and hope to be able to start sharing some screenshots soon, pending a smooth launch for Silk Roads II.
For those of you who can't wait that long, let me drop the link in here again:
