🏌️♂️ Under Par Golf Architect – Major Update!
Hello Architects!
We’re here to drop a hot new update — our biggest so far! 🔥 We’ve received an incredible amount of feedback, and we’ve worked quickly to address it.
Without further ado, here’s the full changelog:
⭐ NEW FEATURES
Close the Gate System – Close the main gate and all golfers will leave the course instantly.
Map Selection Improvements – The map selection carousel can now be moved using mouse clicks.
🔧 GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS
Adjusted course rating balance — previously required too many greens and hazards to achieve an A rating.
⛳ Golfer Behavior Improvements
Golfers will no longer aim shots toward other holes.
Reduced tendency to always pick the shortest path, allowing more creative course layouts.
Ongoing improvements to shot simulation.
Fixed issues with the hole solver when water interrupts paths.
⚖️ BALANCING
🏌️ Golfer Performance
Long shots are now more powerful.
Putting difficulty increased for more realistic outcomes.
Weed and Trash will effect only nearby golfers!
You can see weed and trash in the overlay menu.
Overlay menu changed white to dark gray to save your eyes!
Ongoing tuning of golfer needs (hunger, thirst, energy).
🤖 AI & SIMULATION
Fixed an issue where golfers would not complete the final hole during tournaments.
🧠 Needs & Decision Making
Golfers now prioritize closer options to satisfy their needs.
AI will now properly exit the course when gates are closed.
Improved gardener activity levels.
🛤️ Pathfinding Improvements
Fixed NavMesh issues causing agents to get stuck with high population counts.
Reduced pathfinding problems in forest areas (now walkable with higher movement cost).
👥 SOCIAL & GROUPS
Added UI support for golfer groups.
Groups can now share outfits for better visual clarity.
🏢 STAFF & FACILITIES
Improved Staff House functionality:
Increased recovery capacity (previously limited to one employee at a time).
Benches
Queue limited to 1 for clearer and more predictable behavior.
Increased effective range of trash bins.
🖥️ UI / UX IMPROVEMENTS
Expanded UI with more detailed and useful information.
Improved clarity on how course ratings are influenced by reviews.
Added better visibility into golfer preferences (e.g., decorations like flowerbeds).
Now you can see where the golfers is headed!
🔄 Queue System
Queues now reorder dynamically based on actual agent positions.
⚠️ KNOWN ISSUES / WORK IN PROGRESS
Tutorial/demo difficulty is currently too high (will be balanced in a future update).
It can be difficult to understand when and where money is earned.
Golfer hole ratings are not always clearly visible.
Some 3D UI elements interfere with mouse clicks (e.g., hole lock pins).
IM SURE I'M MISSING SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( For example the quality settings in the settings -.-)
