🧟‍♂️ Hello, Survivors!
Today, we're wrapping up our Halloween-themed event—it was a blast seeing Uncle dressed up as Frankenstein! Rest assured, more themed events with exciting new content are on the way!
Now, we’d like to share our roadmap for the official release of Uncle Z:
Combat System Overhaul: We plan to completely revamp the combat system to make gameplay more dynamic, accessible, and fun, with firearms playing a more significant role.
- Inventory and Backpack System OverhaulWe’re reworking the game’s UI for clarity and accessibility. A new item belt will be added, giving the player two item slots that can be expanded by finding a backpack.
- Mission System OverhaulThe mission system will be revamped for game progression. Currently, it’s a bit hidden, so many players feel lost without clear objectives. Our new tutorial system gives a sneak peek of what's to come.
Enhanced Gore Effects: We plan to add more gore and zombie reactions—you’ll see heads flying and smashing apart for maximum impact, haha!
- Advanced Match Configuration in the LobbyA match customization menu will be added, letting the host configure the game to their preferences, from zombie and item spawn rates to infection settings and more.
Map Expansions and New Maps: We aim to expand existing maps and add a procedural system so that each expedition introduces subtle map changes—like a burning bus blocking access or an extremely barricaded door, for instance.
These are our main goals before the final release of Uncle Z.
