We’re introducing new weapons, a new map to explore, and a sinister boss! Most importantly, we completely revamped the connection system between host and client for smoother gameplay. This overhaul took up most of our time, but in our tests, we can confidently say goodbye to input lag. Now, we need your help to consolidate this new system—if you encounter any bugs or input lag, please let us know. Thank you for your patience!

Most importantly, we completely revamped the connection system between host and client for smoother gameplay. This overhaul took up most of our time, but in our tests, we can confidently say goodbye to input lag. Below is a list of bug fixes and new features:

Balancing:

  • Generator now takes longer to deplete.

  • Water pump now fills the reservoir more quickly.

  • More loot items have been added across all maps.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed synchronization of ambient sounds over time.

  • Fixed windows breaking only on the client’s side.

  • Fixed item duplication when dropping and picking up items quickly.

  • Fixed lag when interacting with objects.

  • Fixed lag when picking up items.

  • Fixed game freezing when pressing "Esc" on the mission screen.

  • Fixed overall input lag.

  • Fixed zombies attacking from meters away.

  • Fixed ambient sound volume not following settings.

New Features:

  • Added a new quest system.

  • Added a new dynamic tutorial system.

  • Added Halloween-themed elements.

  • Added a new Boss.

  • Added a new map -> Cemetery.

  • Added melee weapons:

    • Cleaver

    • Knife

    • Golf Club

    • Frying Pan

    • Scythe

    • Rolling Pin

    • Wrench

    • Pickaxe

  • Visual rework on all melee weapons.

With the connection issues partially resolved, we’re back to focusing on content creation. We’re developing a new campaign, expanding existing maps, reworking the zombies’ visuals, and adding more gore—get ready to see heads explode! We’d also like to announce that we’re designing a new combat system aimed at making combat more arcade-style and fluid, with firearms playing a bigger role. All of this will be part of the game’s official launch, which is just around the corner.
