Repeated intro
Hello everyone, how's it going? Welcome to the Update Diary!
What changed
- Gameplay
- UI and audio
- Compatibility
Each month, we’ll share improvements and new features from our little game.
Development
We faced challenges with the lack of Godot tutorials and the version transition, but we’re adapting.
Dasij and Rheidner are our devs. Dasij is also a game designer, always crafting new mechanics and refining minigame logic. Rheidner, on the other hand, focused on enhancing multiplayer, developing a semi-authoritative version.
Bugs like to drop by to say "hello," but this team is always on top of fixing them 💪
Our "Van Goghs"
Our art trio—Dan, Opala, and Bacchox—is bringing the game's visuals to life.
Dan is handling menu art, credits, and transitions. We’re still prototyping, but it already looks fantastic!
And Opala... she's practically a goddess when it comes to creation! She’s bringing the board to life, populating every area with penguins, trees, reindeer—her own creations.
Lastly, Bacchox is working on card effects, and the results are incredible! It’s that level of intricate detail, with multiple frames, that truly makes a difference.
In October, we even celebrated Dan and Opala's birthdays 🥳
Feel the Vibe
Pedro, in addition to being an artist, is also the team's sound designer. This month, he brought Opala's penguins to life with sound. I can only imagine what his neighbors think while he records! He also started concept art for another minigame.
Lastly, we're always sharing updates on our social media, so stay tuned! And here’s exciting news: our game is about to enter Beta!
Thanks for reading! I'll be back with more updates for you all next month! - Gunnar
