Repeated intro
Hello all my gelatinous, our beloved gamedev Mr. Gelatin just blew himself up (#°Д°)!!! This happened while figuring out how to roll out the new changes, but as an extremely powerful gelatinous being he managed to regenerate his sanity and is going full throttle! Without further ado, here are the news
What changed
- Gameplay
- UI and audio
- Fixes
- Performance
New feature: Gameplay with bots!
To be able to test our game before playing with friends. To be able to see our moms being able to play the game And to be able to have fun alone we added bots! They can play the entire board cycle in 4 different difficulties and with 4 different visions directly affecting their gameplay in the minigames and with some studies we aim to affect the board too: Easy - The intent is that in this difficulty they never win Medium - The difficulty intention where they can win if you are not performing well Hard - In this one we want the bot to give a lot of trouble and without playing seriously it can win most! Jello - In this difficulty the bot has the intention of being unfair and probably winning We tested a lot but everything is a process of improvement! And we will follow this vision to adjust our bots
Minigame changes
We finally have sounds in splatormz! Now only two minigames left
Bug fixes and quality of life
The Mac version was added, which no one ever knew why it didn't run, but with the help of a friend we managed to understand the reasons!
Major fixes were made to reconnection, mainly for when the host reconnected where after the first reconnection all subsequent ones were inconsistent. ( It took almost as long to solve this as it took to make a bot for the board MUCH SUFFERING but it worked out )
Fixed shadows for Tonk and Doomy
Added a visual indicator for the card on the board cards HUD and also modified so that the first available cards always sort the dice type ones first
Banana score indicators were added to quick climber
Current development priority
Improve the stability of player entry when they leave and re-enter rooms, it didn't make it into this update but I really want to do it
Add the option for players to have local rooms or play in hybrid mode ( Example: Two players in one house and the others online )
Do mockup tests with new minigames
For you who read this far and don't know how to play the playtest you just need to enter the Steam page and at the bottom there will be the option to redeem the open playtest of our game for free!
