UBERSLAUGHTER Beta Update

Okay so I've made a few changes to the Beta Build, which is the build you'd use to make custom maps and upload or play steam workshop custom maps.

What changed

0 fixes3 additions2 changes0 removals
  • Compatibility
  • UI and audio
  • Maps
  • Gameplay
changedOkay so I've made a few changes to the Beta Build, which is the build you'd use to make custom maps and upload or play steam workshop custom maps.
addedThe main menu now has a "Maps" button which takes you to the maps list. This maps list allows to you to select which maps you want to play and unselect the ones you don't like. This list includes the official levels which are the following (I will name them appropriately in the future): "1" --> starter map "3-1" --> desert map "5" --> underground+outside area map "6" --> blood arena map "8" --> blue circular arena map "9" --> aztec pyramids jungle map
changedSo you can basically disable the official maps that you don't like, which is kinda neat! The maps list also works with custom maps, which should show up in the list. Now keep in mind this is still a beta, so I really appreciate any feedback on any bugs/problems you may encounter!
addedThe Trenchbroom API now has icons and such for different point entities. There are also properties for the light source entities, such as light intensity and light range and even light color! Another point entity property is the jumpPad jump force. So now you can set your own jumpForce for any jumpPad you drag into your Trenchbroom map!
addedI will add more of these properties and entities in the upcoming days. Here are some that I have planned for: custom skyboxes, placing down water/lava, make certain meshes/brushes be destroyable with kick/punches (think of kicking down doors for example). More than just those will come as well!

Okay so I've made a few changes to the Beta Build, which is the build you'd use to make custom maps and upload or play steam workshop custom maps.

Here are some of the changes:

-The main menu now has a "Maps" button which takes you to the maps list.
