Type Her to Sleep changes
This Steam Next Fest is over, but our work continues on. But first things first,
Thank YOU for 800 wishlists. We literally wouldn't be here without your support! We promise to work hard on trying to deliver the sleepiest, coziest, comfiest, chillest typing game in the market on launch.
What's Next
We've gone through the feedback you've given us from the game's demo, and we want to share to you our plans for the game's release.
A Font Change
We hear you loud and clear, the current font of the game makes it difficult to differentiate between the uncapitalized As and Os.
We're currently working on implementing a new font that follows our criteria:
Fits the game's soft, cute aesthetic.
Dyslexia-friendly (which also means very readable for non-dyslexics)
Can support the game's supported languages.
We're not sure how long it'll take to find a font that matches all our criteria, but we'll let you know when we have done so.
Story Mode
Our next focus is getting this mode (and Zen Mode) completed. The entire past month since our last blog was focused on nailing down the typing gameplay, among other things. From your feedback, you really enjoyed the base gameplay, and we're glad to hear that, that means we can now go full steam ahead into expanding the base gameplay with the gameplay modifiers.
We'll tell you more about the Story Mode (and the modifier system that comes with it) in the coming weeks, as this a topic that needs its own blog post.
Translations (and Dialects)
One thing we heard (and made an emergency patch for) is the need for not just translations for other languages (we want to once again apologize for not having the demo in languages other than English) but also for dialect (US and UK English).
We plan to address this by adding options for both language and dialect for both the user interface and word bank. We'll tell you more once we have more to show.
And that's a wrap! We'll talk more once we have more news to share. Once again, thank you for all the support!
