Trials of Valor changes
Hello everyone! ⚔️
Version 1.6.2 is live with a handful of bugfixes. The next major patch will have something epic we've been working on, but we didn't want to wait with patching said bugs.
We'd like to begin this post by thanking some of the players who found some of the bugs mentioned below 💖 You're awesome! It means the world to us that you take the time out of your day to help us improve the game. Here's the list of some of the fixes:
Fixed a bug where moving abilities on the Rogue could result in having the affected abilities unable to execute in a fight (exiting to the menu and pressing continue made them work again).
Fixed a bug where you couldn't die properly from an event. You will now be able to die by sacrificing health or digging in poisonous stumps too many times in events (again) 🗺️
Improved the save system to first save to a backup file and only commit the save when no errors occured during the save. While losing progress has been reported, it should be a very rare case and this extra guard will prevent some potential cases where it could happen.
Altered many gear modifiers to have the correct capitalization of letters (consequent with other modifiers)
Removed the cursed chest event from Chapter 3 - it was previously removed from Chapter 1 and 2, but was still lurking around in Chapter 3.
Altered the damage info for Stone Spikes to correctly show the damage dealt. We also slightly reworked Stone Spikes to scale with the player's damage.
Fixed Stone Spikes to correctly deal damage with the spawned spikes.
Altered various blood related abilities to be consequent with similar abilities.
Altered the Shuriken-ability to have 0.25 second cooldown (down from 3 seconds)
Fixed a strange typo where all Chapter 3 portals mentioned the word "portal" twice when selecting a portal.
Fixed a bug where drinking a potion at the rest site using the Potion Brewer charm would fail to apply the effect of the potion.
Fixed charms like Daring Explorer and High Roller's Detour to correctly give gold when entering ?-nodes.
Improved performance by deactivating some stuff in UI-menues that only needs to be active when you can actually see the menu
Renamed the modifier "of Richness" to "of Wealth" to better show that it has to do with money.
Renamed some items that had "of x" in its name, to avoid having said item generated with "Daggers of summoning of Wealth" - for instance.
