Steam post imageIt's here!

Summoning has been a popular request ever since we had our first playtest sessions. We always loved the idea of including summoning, but at the same time, we didn't want to muddle down the fighting area and cause too many distractions. In this update, we found a middle ground that works well.

This update delivers 4 new subclasses!

We added one new subclass for each main class related to summoning. The 4th one is the long awaited mystery warrior subclass.

Each character receives unique Armor ascension pieces. Their starting abilities can be upgraded through the "book event" that allows upgrading.

Creatures to summon! 👾

There are 7 creatures you can summon and 3 different types of creatures - mushrooms, bugs and bats.

Example of the Ice Bug creature

Every creature also has an "ethereal" version that can be summoned.

Spiritcaller - New Summoning Equipment

Every class got their own variation of this set, including class specific weapons.

Here's the full set bonus shared among the characters

Improved stats window

We added several stats to this window. We originally only kept the most important stats visible in here, but we reworked the menu to be scrollable.

There's a new "Summary" window that highlights the differences equipping a new item would give (minus the armor set and in some cases, the gear modifier)

Example of a minimized tooltip. It skips the left tooltip (equipped item) and only displays the name of the item, which is useful in shops.

Other changes

  • Improved tooltips (see picture above)

  • Fixed a bug where a node could have the same modifier twice (Armored Armored Bladed Goblin for instance)

  • Added new charms, including loadout charms and cursed charms.

  • New abilities (other than summoning)

  • Various bug fixes
