Map changes 🗺️

There's chests everywhere!

The chest nodes used to exclusively spawn on row 17 and always contained a selection of "greater charms". We scrapped the fixed spawning positions and added 9 new chest events! 🪙

There will be between 4 to 7 visible chests scattered around the map. Two of them can spawn on the first half of the map and the rest will spawn on the second half.

The normal event nodes (?-nodes) will include between 0-3 randomly selected chest events.

Since the chests no longer spawn at a fixed row, it's possible to pick up several chests by picking a certain path.

Skebbnar's shop

Skebbnar's shop offers powerful items for all classes. He will now (randomly) set up shop on a dedicated node on all Chapters, so make sure you pay him a visit!

Super Elites will spawn on a random node

Gorp the dungeon troll really likes dungeons, but she will now venture outside. You can encounter her on a wider array of nodes, plus there's a second super elite joining the party 🧌

Enemy modifiers are visible on the map nodes now (from ascension 1 and up)

General changes

Charm rewards will now have a chance to include greater charms.

The picture below shows a super lucky case where there's even two greater charms

New gear modifiers and charms 📿

Ever wanted your Warrior to be more like a Rogue? With this patch, any class can obtain "backstab damage", which increases the damage done when attacking the enemy from behind. 🗡️ You can now also affect how long your target is stunned from both charms and gear modifiers. We reduced the default stun time (for enemies) from 4 seconds down to 2.5 seconds, so you might want to build up on some extra stun time ⏱️

There's also a new gear modifier (of fusion) that takes the strength of each class and fuse them into one modifier.

Run in background setting

You can now decide if you want the game to run in the background (when tabbed out).

You will find this option in the settings menu under "General".

Other changes

  • Fixed a bug where clicking the bag icon with the mouse wouldn't let the map controller move until the button was deselected

  • The "Bloody altar event" has more outcomes (including a very rare case)

  • The Elite Bear enemy will now longer apply bleed in cases where you run our of block energy as you block their attack.

  • Evil Goran has improved animations that can be cancelled through staggering him.

  • Perfect blocks now only cost 50% of the stability damage to block 🛡️

  • Changed the colors of the "+-signs" on the map nodes from red🟥 to white⬜. You can now also see which modifiers the enemies will have before entering a node.

  • Enemy stun time was lowered from 4 seconds to 2.5 seconds (you can increase the time with gear/charms)
