I’m happy to announce that a new patch is now available - so don’t forget to update the game! Based on the most common criticism from players, this patch will hopefully solve, or at least significantly reduce, the game’s biggest issue: excessive grinding.
It addresses the problem in two ways. First, the balance has been adjusted in several areas to make progression faster. More importantly, we have also added an optional recommendation window that will appear the first time you open the skill tree.
We have been carefully reading all of your feedback, including the critical reviews. Although many players have mentioned that the game feels too drawn out, the amount of time it takes to complete the game and see all of its endings varies greatly - from around 3 hours to as much as 12 hours.
Of course, everyone plays at a different pace. Some players rush, while others prefer to take their time. However, experience with similar games also plays a major role. Some players immediately understand which upgrades are the most effective, while for others, the best choices may not be obvious at all.
Because of this, instead of simply making progression much faster across the board, we have added an optional recommendation system. When enabled - and it is enabled by default - you will not just be choosing which skill to upgrade next. In important situations, the game will highlight the skills that are worth paying attention to if you want to progress efficiently.
Players who prefer to figure everything out on their own can disable this option at any time.
I sincerely hope these changes will make the game much more enjoyable. Since the recommendations are optional, everyone can choose the playstyle they find more fun - progressing efficiently or simply experimenting with different upgrades.
I would really love to hear what you think. I’ll be very happy if your reviews show that the pacing has improved, allowing us to start thinking about larger and more substantial updates.
We read every single review without exception, in every language.
Have fun!
