UPDATE 7 — FRACTURE

The largest update to Total Repeat. Your body breaks now, your weapon fails you, and the interface stops being something you can trust. Steam post image

THE BODY

  • Fractures and bleeding across four zones: head, torso, arm, leg

  • A broken leg means a limp and no sprint

  • A broken arm makes the weapon drift in your hands — and drop on impact

  • Bleeding drains health and will not stop on its own until you hold still: a sharp manoeuvre tears the clot open again

  • High-speed collisions break bones — whichever part of you hit first

  • Body status panel on the HUD: a segmented diagram of the suit

  • A medkit closes every wound and sets one fracture

WEAPONS

  • An overheated barrel can jam for good — hold [R] to clear it. With a broken arm it takes twice as long

  • Ricochets off glancing hits, for both the blaster and the shotgun: hit a wall head-on and the shot dies, clip it and the shot travels on

  • Weapons can be knocked out of your hands; track them by the marker

SANITY

  • At low sanity the interface starts lying: false fracture, false ammo count, false jam

  • An enemy that does not exist walks out of the dark. It dissolves on the first hit — but the ammo is spent and the shots were heard

  • Blackouts: the screen cuts out and you come round somewhere else. Ammo gone, doors open, and no memory of any of it

  • Looking at the stars and planets brings your mind back — but only if you stop moving and do nothing Steam post image

THE SECTOR

  • Another nest has appeared in Omega-7

  • A new location: what used to be an empty stretch of the sector is now occupied

THE WORLD

  • Container hacking reworked: precision instead of mashing [E]. Every hit makes the cursor faster and the zone narrower

  • Inventory rebuilt as a grid of cells

  • Six drink brands scattered across the station, and an achievement for collecting them all

  • Post-processing: bloom, colour grading, vignette

INTERFACE

  • Pause settings now scroll

  • Dust hangs visible in the flashlight beam

CINEMATIC MODE

  • Free camera for capturing footage, unlocked after completing the game

  • Toggled in the settings — both in the pause menu and the main menu

  • Camera flight with inertia, roll, field of view, slow motion and freeze frame

  • The interface hides with one key, the player freezes in place

  • Hold F1 in game to see the full key list

FIXES

  • Collected loot no longer returns after a restart

  • Killed enemies stay dead

  • Now saved: magazine, jetpack fuel, flashlight charge, injuries, opened doors, a jammed weapon and one knocked out of your hands

  • Reloading a save no longer refills your magazine for free

  • A knocked-out weapon no longer drifts off into the void — it falls nearby

  • The save indicator is no longer covered by the HUD

  • Radio chatter no longer talks over the ending

  • Credits updated
