changedThis update focuses on quality-of-life (QoL) improvements, better player navigation, and fixing several frustrating bugs.
fixedBetter Navigation & Onboarding: Added clear explanations that the floating colored cubes are navigation markers. The HUD Legend now explicitly states "Red cube — Objective marker" and "Yellow cube — Item marker", and a new pop-up tip appears at the start of the game. • Increased Render Distance: Drastically increased the draw distance and LOD bias across all graphics presets (Low to Ultra). You can now see distant stations and objects much more clearly! • Inventory Stacking: Lore items (books, journals, watches) now correctly stack in your inventory with their quantities displayed (e.g., "x2", "x3"), saving you valuable space. • Inventory Tooltips: Added a new UI tooltip when hovering over lore items in the inventory, hinting that they are used for solving the terminal cipher. • Fixed Accidental Shooting: Fixed an annoying bug where clicking to use an item in the inventory (like an energy drink) would instantly cause the player to shoot their weapon upon closing the UI. • Save/Load Improvements: Loading a game from the pause menu now properly reloads the entire scene, preventing bugs with broken item states and missing objects. • Auto-Pickup: Fixed an issue where certain lore items and collectibles were ignored by the proximity auto-pickup system. • Updated UI & Credits: Fixed a bug where typing in the terminal triggered background menu actions, disabled disruptive menu parallax effects, and updated the developer credits.
