addedFirst person controller was completely replaced, I had a number of people message me about the controls getting offset/inverted, so a completely new one has been implemented. You can still click and drag the tailgate and probe, and use the (E) key to toggle the probe data collection mode. You can also use shift to run

  • Reflectivity radar and velocity radar are now implemented (use the tab menu to toggle the overlays) - note: there is a slight delay when switching between modes, this is because the radar has to complete a full sweep before updating the image when changing modes

  • CosmeticBetter lightning effectsthe lightning looks more realistic now, instead of a random mess of lines like it was previously

  • Precipitation effects: rain and hail get more intense depending on your positioning under the cell

  • Cells are randomly generated (previously the same cell prefab was re-used for all cells, you will see more variation both in the rendered cell and in the radar image)

  • Tornado and cell growth are now probabilistic, meaning the tornado may weaken and intensify suddenly - so make sure to keep your situational awareness!

  • Ground speed for tornadoes has been lowered a bit - with the road type and terrain type affecting the max speed, trying to catch up to the storms was far too difficult before

Here are some screenshots of the new features :)
