Tome of Talis: A Dice Conquest Game changes
Improved QOL
A new indicator displays when a die is being targeted by another die! This should make scanning the battlefield for threats easier. Additionally, if you hover over the targeting display, you can see who is planning to attack them!
New Buffs and Debuffs
New debuff, Weak: Dice affected by this deal half damage. Disappears at a rate of one per round.
New buff: Protected. If a die would die, instead its survives at one hp.
New debuff, Burn: Burn deals its stacks worth of damage at the start of dice resolution, and then removes itself. In essence, its damage that takes a turn to hit!
New units:
All the below units are part of the new Devoted line.
Devoted: A dice that cleanses debuffs from allies
Vindicator: created from devotees, has less cleansing powers but can weaken rows of enemies.
Cleric: Upgrade of devotee, gives even more cleanse
Purifier: Upgrade of cleric, the best cleanser whos powers work on the whole army
War Bishop: A more well rounded cleanser with high health and defend
Inquisitor: A good weakener who can instakill enemies
Scourgebreaker: The strongest weakening unit
New starting hands
Spears of Hope: With many spears, this army can effectively leverage the spearman bonus well.
The Jolly Men: An army comprised of fools, jesters, and others that don't fit in. Good luck.
Templars Remnant: Replaced one healer with a devoted.
New Spells
New spell: Protection: Applies protected to die and its neighbors
New spell: Weaken. Applies 1 weak to a die and its neighbors. Cost 4 mana
Balance Changes
Many buffs to the HP of tier 1 friendly dice and low health Tier 2 dice
New debuff, Burn: Burn deals its stacks worth of damage at the start of dice resolution, and then removes itself. In essence, its damage that takes a turn to hit!
Siege wizard now applies burn debuffs when attacking, and is rebalanced around it
Fireball level 2 now deals burn debuffs in addition to regular effects
Minor Changes
Reworded Overtax to clarify it better
Speed is no longer is shown on the dice, instead described in the die side description
minor fixes for tutorial
Fixed rally not showing the right buff data
Fixed several ambience sound effect issues
Fixed several issues relating to music and audio
New sound effects for menus and scrolling
For those playing the demo, the majority of this content is included, although the new starting hands and spells are not.
