Toaster Arena changes
Welcome back toasters!
Additions
Additions to Warships mode.
Added spectator team to warships game mode.
Added Supreme skin for akimbo Huker (By Teo Supreme).
Added new sound settings option for UI sounds.
Command object set var command can now use other variable values.
Added command object command for debugging variables.
Added Fishing time Music Track (By SZ4F).
Added very subtle ring effect for shooting weapons.
Added simple limb damage for single player enemies.
Single player enemies can now enter a last stand mode.
Single player enemies can now enter a death crawl mode.
Single player enemies can now enter a limp mode.
Ability for SP AI characters to surrender has been added back.
Added new SP AI low morale actions.
Builder map editor now supports making maps for overwrite modes, such as fishing game mode and Warships and any new future modes that get added.
Added Placeholder warship models to builder mode as decorations.
Added king of the hill game mode.
Added king of the hill support for all arena maps.
Added visible respawn timer UI for players.
Added Blåhaj Fish to fishing mode (By Glacier).
Added Fragments Of Toasters music track (By SZ4F).
Additions - Warships
Warships mode is now a team based king of the hill mode.
Added Placeholder models for the warship classes (This will be updated for the future).
Added Fighter Class for both UPF and Dallas.
Added Bomber Class for both UPF and Dallas.
Added Frigate Class for both UPF and Dallas.
Added Interceptor Class for both UPF and Dallas.
Added Destroyer Class for both UPF and Dallas.
Added Battleship Class for both UPF and Dallas.
Updated warships map to accommodate for the new ships and mode.
Added destruction sequences for frigates, destroyers and battleships.
Added ship markers that help players identify ships over long distances.
Missile weapons now use a lock-on system.
Changes
Updated builder mode player Info object to allow limb damage for players (single player only).
Updated Fishing Rod Line Offsets.
Camera will no longer reset to first person after collecting a fish.
Updated Ragdoll optimization code to allow for automatic toggles.
Optimization passes to character and ragdoll creation in order to improve CPU performance.
Updated Water plant background.
QA improvements to fishing UI.
Tweaked Fisherman dialogue to instead restart to the selection tree instead of closing after the player exits the sell menu.
Updated rocket launcher sounds (By Teo Supreme).
Reduced rocker launcher damage.
Fish sell menu will now display how much chips the player’s inventory is valued at.
Polishing pass to speed power-up.
Bug fixes
Fixes to projectile damage not being affected by physical materials.
Bug Fixes to class UI selection.
Fixed loadout character not playing animations.
Fixed execution character not playing animations.
Warships mode will now properly show how many players are using a specific ship class.
Fixed Sentries not shooting at their aiming position.
Fixed dying by crashing vehicles on a TDM mode breaking the respawn system.
Codex typo updates.
Fixed small collision issues with lever interaction objects.
Fixed bug that would cause client camera to not reset when entering a water volume while performing an emote.
Fixed Instant Kill Mutator.
Fixed Bug with class selection showing invalid numbers for active units.
Fixes to vehicle projectile weapon aiming issues.
Fixed Bug that would cause AI characters to have their thinking code disabled when exiting a vehicle passenger seat.
Gesture animations will no longer play if the player is holding a body shield.
Fixed Fishing Rod Line not rendering properly in third-person.
Fixed ragdoll collision issues on insertion for elevator and bridge.
Fixed bug with melee shove that would cause players to re-equip weapons if ragdolling is disabled.
Fixed local player weapons getting removed while in gameplay due to garbage collection systems.
Fixed gesture menu breaking weapon inventory if closed improperly.
Fixed bug that would cause players to be unable to unequip weapons after performing a quick melee during a climb wall action.
Fixed UPF Turret not being able to take damage.
Fixed some projectile behavior issues.
Store implementation
With a store implementation for the game, right now there's 2 types of cosmetics available on the steam store for the game. These are mostly made for testing the waters and will not replace free cosmetic updates, these are mainly meant as a way for players to support the game without requiring a patron subscription.
Notes
Some weapons on the Warships mode may show as having no ammo for clients.
MP AI Characters may stop functioning after a few respawns.
