HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

  1. Three new player abilities - SIDESTEP (for squeezing through tight gaps), LEDGE CLIMB / VAULT (jump and grab a ledge to pull yourself up) and SWORD SWING (use the main fire button to swipe instead of having to rotate your character).

  6. Drone Bot 2 has been completely redesigned and programmed. It can do flying attacks, but can also land and attack on foot. Animations added for these attack modes.

  7. The Tank Turret and Tank Cannon bots have been redesigned. They're a little bigger, more detailed and now perform much smoother in the physics engine, meaning less jitter and the top sections don't fall loose from the main body any more.

  8. Enhanced environmental graphics now include decorative elements such as steel pipes and other indutrial items, gold engravings on the marble walls in Bot Arena 2, web-like circuitry and PC cooling pipes in Bot Arena 4, loose bricks in stone wall arenas, better looking bouncepads etc. A lot of textures have been replaced with better versions, such as Bot Arena 8 having a textural makeover. Not all arenas have been updated with the new graphical elements yet. Around about half of them are due to be updated with the new features.

OTHER CHANGES / ENHANCEMENTS

  1. Player controls image in menus updated to include the new player abilities.

  2. Inflatable exploding balls now grow twice as big before exploding. They also collide with each other now, making them more useful for smothering enemies in tight spaces.

  3. Arena randomization / generation improvements in Arena 1 and Bot Arena 5.

  4. Low player health warnings appear a bit earlier.

  5. Most player weapons are now disabled while the player is dashing (making it harder to dash into your own bullets and rockets)

  6. All PvP matches now set player healths to 400 by default, regardless of difficulty settings. The increased health also makes PvP matches last longer.

  7. Spawned player turrets now rotate slower, making it easier to aim a more precise shot.

  8. Player spawned shield walls now have extra collision detection, making it less likely enemies can shoot through them by standing up close.

  9. Player sword now inflict damage by causing small explosions on collision.

  10. The new sidestep ability automatically zooms the camera in much closer to the player.

  11. Trooper 5 (blue robot that can rocket boost over walls) now has a sound effect when using the rocket boost ability.

  12. Trooper 2 (Shotgunner) now has its shotgun blasts disabled while dashing at player.

  13. Trooper 1 remodelled to look more robotic and thin.

  14. Trooper 2 (sword and grenade attacks) slightly remodelled and colour changed from pink to purple.

  15. Fixed - Hoverboard gun not firing.

  16. Fixed - Hoverboard moving through shield walls.

  17. Fixed - player movement speed differing between the two major game modes
