Dear players,
We are continuing to release small updates based on your feedback. This update focuses on improving interaction flow, combat feedback, and gameplay stability:
Fixes & Improvements
Interaction & Experience Improvements
- Improved interaction controlsadded a key-based interaction option for talking to nearby NPCs
Added a persistent “Searching Enemy” UI indicator:
Normal enemy example: Searching: [Bandit]
Bounty target example: Searching: [Shanfeng Archer Maiden]
Displayed near the lower-middle area of the screen for easier tracking
Added mandatory UI prompts during important story progression moments to reduce missed objectives and confusion
Added combo guidance during duel battles:
UI tip: “Performing combos can delay enemy escape”
Floating text: “Escape delayed +1 turn”
Added clearer guidance for card retention mechanics during duel battles:
The retention area at the top of the screen now displays a noticeable breathing animation while dragging cards
Players can no longer delete autosaves, preventing accidental loss of progression
System & Combat Improvements
Removed the [Endure] modifier (previously delayed damage resolution)
Fixed an issue where combining [Thorns] and [Endure] could repeatedly trigger 1 damage and crash the game
Enemy popup notifications are now integrated into the “Pre-Battle Check” panel instead of appearing separately
Added NPCs that recycle excess manpower, horses, and food resources
Added default merchants to Zhuo County, Pre-Battle Zhuo County, and West Zhuo County (purchase coefficient: 1.0)
Added an escape mechanic for dungeon challenge targets
Increased the damage output of several combo cards
Progression & Presentation Fixes
Fixed an issue where two Chen Chong NPCs could appear simultaneously in the final battlefield
Fixed an issue where Yellow Turban prisoners could cluster together abnormally
Fixed an issue where Zhang Shiping’s initial evaluation score would not display after reopening the evaluation multiple times
Adjusted the positions of the Quartermaster and Lu Sheng’s servant in Chapter 4 to avoid scene obstruction
Fixed blank dialogue appearing in Lu Sheng’s Chapter 2 conversations
Corrected several inappropriate or inaccurate text descriptions
Planned for Upcoming Updates
Allow equipment transfer between party members
Add lock functionality for skills and soldier cards
Add one-click synthesis for items, skills, and soldiers of selected quality
Fix an issue where blue trading circles around characters sometimes cannot be closed
Prevent troop recruitment when no food, horses, or manpower are invested
Add an “Enemy Information” panel showing enemy modifiers, icons, names, and effects during encounters
Fix the brief 0.5-second camera position issue after the final battle
Allow players to load save files directly during gameplay
Fix cases where some characters appear to sink into the ground
Add an attribute counter chart and explanation:
Counter damage increased by 50%
Damage taken from counters reduced by 50%
Add a failure prompt after bounty targets escape:
“The target has escaped. You can search and capture them again in the current area.”
Add bounty board clarification text:
“Entering the designated area guarantees an encounter with this target.”
