v1.1.1 — Achievement Sync Fix

Achievements have been silently failing to register with Steam since launch. The game was sending the wrong API names, so every unlock was dropped on Steam's side. Fixed.

What this means for you

  • Any achievement you earn from now on will pop on Steam normally.

  • Achievements you've already earned in-game will sync retroactively the next time you launch TideWane — no action needed, nothing is lost.

Under the hood

  • The client was sending lowercase internal IDs instead of Steam's ACH_ -prefixed uppercase names. Now transformed at the IPC boundary.

  • The retroactive-sync path added in Tidal Surge fired before save data loaded, so the backfill was reading empty state. Re-gated to fire after your save is loaded.

Thanks to everyone who reported this — you were right, it wasn't you.
