Tidal Surge (v1.1.0) is live

This patch exists entirely because of the detailed bug reports you posted in the Community Hub. Every thread, every repro step, every "I got this error" — turned into a fix.

Still 33% off through Apr 28. If launch-week bugs made you hesitate, they're gone. The sale hasn't ended yet.

Crashes — fixed

  • Boss Catalog no longer crashes on open. The addColorStop error that took the game to Hull Breach — root-caused and gone.

  • Trench Horror no longer freezes at 50% HP. Phantom Guard phase transition was looping. Now fires cleanly.

  • New: Hull Breach feedback form. If something still goes wrong, the error screen now has a "What were you doing?" textarea and a SEND TO DEV button that emails me the crash + your note directly. No copy-paste to a thread required.

Broken upgrades — now working

  • Permanence keeps the full 100% PSI at max branch (was capped at 80%, contradicting the description).

  • Remembrance actually auto-fires — torpedo, concussion, EMP, beam, and mines all trigger on cooldown when the Omega flag is set.

  • Pearl Magnetism actually pulls fish toward your cursor.

  • Transcendence scaling no longer plateaus in mid-prestige — raised the cap so late-game runs keep growing.

UI and settings

  • Artifact Forge scrolls past the 28-item cutoff.

  • UI Scale at 110/120% no longer hides the Dive button.

  • Settings persist on launch. Volume sliders, window mode, and UI scale now apply on every start instead of reverting to default.

  • Copy for Report button on the error screen works again (WebView2 clipboard fallback).

Cosmetics and Steam

  • Drift Shop cosmetics unlock correctly on purchase. The Cosmetics tab now reflects ownership.

  • Kill Trail, Particle Burst, Chain Sparks, Shockwave Ring — four workshop effects now actually render in-game on kills.

  • Steam achievements retroactively sync on next launch. If you earned achievements in-game that didn't register with Steam, they will the first time you open the game after updating.

Void Nexus vs Omega Shop

The cost mismatch where the Void Nexus and Omega tabs showed different prices for the same upgrade is fixed — both now display the correct (Omega-tab) price.

What's next

"Tidal Surge II" will land the remaining 4 workshop cosmetic effects (Aurora Wake, Depth Glow, Dive Entry FX, Surface Splash) which need wider integration with the dive transition and sub-render passes.

Thank you

Keep the reports coming. The new in-game Hull Breach feedback button makes it one click from here.
