Repeated intro
Greetings, runners! 🏃♂️ Today we’re back with a fresh look at the movement system that makes our parkour game flow like never before. Movement is the heart of any parkour experience, and we wanted to push the boundaries of agility, speed, and style. Let’s dive in!
What changed
- Gameplay
Ticking Together changes
Dash: Instant Burst of Speed
Need to escape danger or make that last-second jump? With a quick dash, you can propel yourself forward in an instant. It’s the perfect mechanic for clutch moments.
Wallrun: Defy Gravity
Walls aren’t obstacles anymore – they’re part of your playground. Run along vertical surfaces to chain combos and reach new heights.
Step-Climb: Seamless Flow
Small ledges and crates won’t stop your momentum. Our step-climb mechanic keeps the action smooth, letting you vault over obstacles without breaking the rhythm.
Grappling: Reach the Unreachable
With a trusty grappling hook, you can swing across gaps and launch yourself into new areas. This adds verticality and creativity to every run.
Double Jump & Skydive: Take to the Air
Jump once, jump twice – double jumps give you insane control in mid-air. And when you’re coming down, skydive mechanics let you glide through the air in style before landing.
Movement Animations: Bringing It to Life
Every move is supported by handcrafted animations to keep the flow natural and satisfying. Movement feels as good as it looks!
✨ We’ll keep sharing the step-by-step progress of our new parkour game.
