Three Kingdoms: Alias Early Access FAQ
Hello, I'm the developer of Three Kingdoms: Alias.
Ahead of the Early Access launch, here is a quick FAQ covering the unlock time, price, and what is included in the current version.
When can I play?
The game unlocks on Steam at 06:00 UTC on July 14, 2026.
The date shown on the Steam store may appear as July 13 or July 14 depending on your region. The time above is the actual unlock timing.
What is the price?
The base price is $7.99 USD. A 10% launch discount will be available for two weeks from launch.
We currently plan to raise the price when the game reaches the full 1.0 release, in line with the additional content and improvements added by then. Any meaningful price change will be announced in advance.
Why Early Access?
The core direction of Three Kingdoms: Alias is already established. Early Access is about refining the long-campaign strategy experience with players: balance, AI pressure, UI clarity, mid-to-late game pacing, localization polish, and the flow of officer identity reveals.
How long will Early Access last?
We currently plan for Early Access to last about 6 to 12 months. The exact timing may change depending on stability, balance needs, player feedback, and the improvements that prove most important after launch.
What happens to the demo?
The demo service will end when Early Access launches. After launch, the latest version will be available through the Early Access game instead of the demo.
Thank you to everyone who played the demo and shared feedback. The feedback we received during the demo period has been reflected in the Early Access version, and we will continue improving the game through the full Early Access release.
What features are being added?
Since demo version 0.3.3, the Early Access version has added the following major changes.
Troop Types / Enhanced Battle System Infantry, archers, and cavalry have been added, and the battle system has been expanded.
Officer Traits Added Capable officers now have combat, stratagem, and domestic traits.
Officer Stat Suggestions Incorporated We incorporated stat suggestions that players submitted through the officer database site.
Improved Officer Information Reveal System Through meetings and investigations, you can now discover not only stats, but also traits, liked/disliked relationships, home regions, and more.
Officer Satisfaction System Added Officers now have satisfaction within your faction. Working with incompatible officers may cause discord, and in severe cases even illness from stress.
Personnel Assignment Improvements A new dashboard makes officer assignments easier to manage. Ministers and local officials no longer lose their posts when deployed; instead, they enter an "Absent" state.
Anti-Hegemon / Anti-Rebel League System Added When a powerful hegemon or rebel faction emerges, nearby factions may form a league, and the player can choose whether to join.
Steam Achievements Added Steam achievements have been added for major goals such as unification, endings, and difficulty.
UI and Convenience Improvements We improved resolution support, several UI screens including the turn dashboard, institutions, and city information, plus tooltips and other convenience features.
Where should I leave feedback?
We will gather feedback through Steam discussions, announcement comments, bug reports, and patch notes. We are especially interested in bugs, unclear UI, balance issues, AI behavior, localization issues, long-campaign information flow, and the pacing of identity reveals.
See you at Early Access launch. Thank you!
