Repeated intro
Hello.
What changed
- Gameplay
- Store
- Fixes
- Events
Unlike our previous game, this title launched directly as a full release without a demo version.
After reviewing feedback and data, we believe a demo version is needed so players can check the game’s style before purchasing.
So we have decided to add a demo version that lets you play through the entire first league.
The demo build is currently under review, and if there are no major issues, it should be available later this week.
Alongside the demo work, we have also made a small patch.
Here are the 1.2.1 patch notes.
Fixes
Added a way to directly check previously hidden personality traits.
You can check them in the right-side info panel of the Team Interaction tab.
Renamed Custom Player Image to Custom Player Skin.
We also fixed an issue where applying a custom skin would overwrite the runner graphic’s outline color.
Fixed an issue where the catcher and batter were not placed correctly in the stadium when our team was on defense.
Relaxed WCBC restrictions
WCBC was originally planned as a PvP system with some rule restrictions.
Because of that, it required a somewhat established team roster, but the direction has changed a bit, so we have adjusted it so it can be used right away instead of only through loading an existing team.
In WCBC, you can use asynchronous multiplayer based on copying and pasting strings, design your own player and bring them into the main game, or create a dream team and run matchups.
Added an outline to the ball thrown during player at-bats.
This update addresses cases where the pitch could be hard to see when using some bright-colored skins.
Steal toggle fix: you can now set your player’s steals and team steals separately.
Team steal ON/OFF still requires the Player Influence skill.
Save method change
This is a technical change that slightly reduces save/load load and prevents save files from being overwritten when different accounts play on the same PC.
We also fixed several other issues, including an intermittent issue where the scoring popup would not appear at home plate after scoring.
Additions
- Team battingadded sacrifice fly attempt logic.
The batter receives a small batting bonus, and a batted-ball result that could become a ground ball or single may probabilistically change into a deep flyout that allows a tag-up score from third.
Sacrifice fly attempts are checked when there are fewer than two outs and a runner is on third. The chance rises or falls based on score gap, pitch adaptation, the batter’s own batting results, personality, and other factors.
The success chance for a sacrifice fly attempt, meaning the chance that the batted-ball result changes, is affected by bat control and plate discipline.
Team batting plays such as sacrifice bunts and other productive outs already existed, but during playtesting we felt they were not strongly connected enough to scoring situations. We added separate sacrifice fly logic so players can feel like the team is making team-oriented plays depending on personality and situation.
Added detailed stats: pitch count by pitch type and average selection rate per game for pitchers
(These stats accumulate from this update onward.)
Added career records
When a season ends, career records are saved by year before each player’s season stats are reset.
Accumulated career records can be checked in the Career Records tab added to the training room after advancing to a higher league, where you can view both club records and player records.
That is all.
If you have any issues or suggestions, please feel free to post on the forum at any time. We will check and respond.
Thank you to everyone playing the game.
