Hello. This patch adds almost everything that I had originally planned to include earlier, but had put on hold. Among the additional modes, I am currently developing Owner Mode as a full management-focused mode.

This patch adds almost everything that I had originally planned to include earlier, but had put on hold.

Among the additional modes, I am currently developing Owner Mode as a full management-focused mode.

Owner Mode was one of the main pieces of content included in the game's earliest plans.

(The original draft was a baseball team management game set in an isekai fantasy world.)

It was removed during the simplification process,

but after implementing the game to this point, I started to think it might be worth bringing back.

I cannot promise when it will be ready or how fun it will be, but I will try to add it as development progresses.

Here are the patch notes for version 1.2.

Fixes

  1. Fixed a bug where pickoff attempts and pickoff outs occurred at a much lower rate than the actual settings intended.

  • Pickoff attempts are limited per game so they do not interrupt the flow of play too much.

  • When a pickoff attempt succeeds, that activation count is not consumed.

  1. Slightly increased the baserunning ability of newly generated teammate players.

  2. Fixed errors in in-game batted-ball result animations, and made the implementation more stable and varied.

  3. Made out/safe calls on bases clearer when a ball is fielded during a game.

(This does not change results that have already been resolved.)

  1. Fixed an issue where it was too difficult to receive a Stylish grade during fan signing scenes.

  2. Fixed an issue where some Steam achievements were not being unlocked correctly.

  3. Reduced the build size by fixing unnecessary files that were being included in the build.

Additions

  1. Expanded modding features.

  • Custom bats

    You can create new bats and configure their hitting area.

    Bat stats and prices can also be configured.

  • Custom player images

    You can create and add custom player images for stadium players (fielders/catchers), as well as pitcher images for the player batting scene, and share them on the Workshop.

    Player images use a fixed-size 20-frame image atlas.

    Pitcher images for the player batting scene support 8-frame and 16-frame atlases.

  • Custom uniforms

    You can customize the uniforms used in signing scenes.

  1. Added display mode settings. (Fullscreen/Windowed/Borderless maximized window)

  2. Slightly strengthened matchup effects based on pitcher and batter handedness. (For example: left-handed pitcher vs left-handed batter, left-handed pitcher vs right-handed batter, and so on.)

  • When pitcher and batter handedness match, the batter's pitch familiarity with that pitcher may no longer increase, depending on probability.

    (The higher the Discipline stat, the lower the chance that the increase will be blocked.)

  • When pitcher and batter handedness match, the batter is slightly more likely to be fooled into swinging.

  • When pitcher and batter handedness differ: no change.
