The Spell Brigade changes
Elements are a big part of our spell systems. We put a lot of effort into refining these designs to make sure each combo can bring something new to the table, making for more diverse playstyles and builds, while also feeding into our systemic design.

While we originally considered a sixth element, we eventually decided that it would create more value to players to improve the designs for the elements already in the game, so that each combo is more than just the sum of its parts. Behold... the Brigadier Infusion Helpbook, a full breakdown of all elements for 1.0:
Some more small improvements include:
Visual improvements for the Fire & Acid effects
Enemy animations also slow down when affected by Ice spells
Corrupted enemies have unique attack effects when they apply a specific element
New VFX have been made for elements like Miasma and Frostbite
Ever since releasing the Dark element in Early Access, we were itching to do some reworks. They kept piling up, so we figured we would save this big rework for 1.0. We still have some small improvements planned for later, but we’re quite happy with how the redesigns turned out and can’t wait for everyone to try them out.
