  • Maps
  • Performance
changedVision ChangesWe encountered a serious bug with our fog of war system that caused the vision of client players to be related to the server's state. Fixing this turned out to be much more complicated than we had planned, however we managed to get it working, and working a bit faster on top of that.
fixedBrightness SlidersWe've heard your feedback, and we understand that the game is too dark on a lot of monitors. To remedy this, we've added in brightness and exposure sliders to the main menu that should allow players to set the brightness to their pleasing. We've also finally fixed the sound settings so that they save when you close the game out.
addedHealing ShrinesWave defense is still pretty tough. Generally speaking, we need to give players better tools for handling the difficulty ramp up; especially against bosses. In order to let your units survive a bit longer, we've added two shrines to the map that will constantly heal all allied units inside.
fixedOther ChangesFixed a bug with highlight colors being incorrect -You can no longer select hidden units or structures -Fixed a bug where client heroes would have strange, jittery movement when attacking -Buffed the Iron Broadsword again -Made some changes with dead units and their equipment that should help performance slightly

Changes

Hello again! This one took a while, and although a little short on content we've been focused on bug fixing and quality of life over all else. We do have some really interesting content in the works (Ballista!), but we want to polish it a bit more before we release it.

Vision Changes

We encountered a serious bug with our fog of war system that caused the vision of client players to be related to the server's state. Fixing this turned out to be much more complicated than we had planned, however we managed to get it working, and working a bit faster on top of that.

Brightness Sliders

We've heard your feedback, and we understand that the game is too dark on a lot of monitors. To remedy this, we've added in brightness and exposure sliders to the main menu that should allow players to set the brightness to their pleasing. We've also finally fixed the sound settings so that they save when you close the game out.

Healing Shrines

Interesting...

Wave defense is still pretty tough. Generally speaking, we need to give players better tools for handling the difficulty ramp up; especially against bosses. In order to let your units survive a bit longer, we've added two shrines to the map that will constantly heal all allied units inside.

Other Changes

-Fixed a bug with highlight colors being incorrect -You can no longer select hidden units or structures -Fixed a bug where client heroes would have strange, jittery movement when attacking -Buffed the Iron Broadsword again -Made some changes with dead units and their equipment that should help performance slightly
