Abysm Demo updated to version 2026.01.13

Most of the time since the last update has been spent on the full game, which is now essentially content complete. The remaining time before release will be spent making sure it is as good as possible.

The following noteworthy changes have been made to the demo since the last build:

  • The story and information popups can now be repeated and dismissed

  • Collision detection between player and monsters has been made more forgiving

  • One demo level (Avalanche) has been tweaked and moved a bit later than previously as feedback indicated it felt like a difficulty spike

  • Default text size on the Steam Deck is larger

  • Some story text lines have been altered to better fit in the story flow of the full game

  • The in-game logotype has been updated to match the new store logotype
