The Old Flesh of Nuraga changes
This was a busy week for us at Studio Ortica. We had a couple of interesting meetings to attend while honing the content for The Old Flesh of Nuraga.
All in all, it went pretty smoothly. The game is getting prettier and more interesting to play, so we're satisfied. We may be taking a couple more weeks to account for internal delays (like Nicola breaking his arm or myself being abroad), though. It won't impact the release date; it's just a way for us to fill the game with more meaningful content.
For the screenshot of the week, I want to share how excavating spots look now.
If you had no idea what an excavating spot is: The Old Flesh of Nuraga asks you to dig through the sands of a backwater desert to find ancient artefacts on behalf of your Grandpa. To progress the story, you go around with a divinatory bell (a fantasy implementation of a metal detector) and search for said artefacts.
Nicola and Samuele revamped the look of these spots, which now shine with an ominous pink light and cut across the ground as scars. I found out about those flashy signs while testing the game, and I couldn't get enough of them ohohoh.
That's all for this weekly update! If you wanted to know more about The Old Flesh of Nuraga, you can come and say 'hi' on our Discord. And to stay updated, wishlist and follow the game!
As always, happy digging,
Luca from Studio Ortica
