We’re back with another monthly update for The Occultist, and we’ve got some exciting news to share! This time, we’re diving into one of the most essential tools in the game—your Diary. Plus, we’ve got something HUGE to celebrate: The Occultist has won Best in Play at GDC 2025!
đź“– The Diary: Your tool for discovering the unknown đź“–
In The Occultist, investigation is key to uncovering the mysteries of the island. To help you with this, you’ll have access to a Diary. It’s more than just a collection of notes—it’s your personal guide through the secrets of GodStone.
Investigation: This section records all the relevant information you discover throughout the story. Every found object, important conversation, or crucial detail will be stored here, making it easier to solve puzzles.
Story: As you progress, this section will fill up with details about the events surrounding the island and its mysterious past. It will be crucial for connecting the dots and understanding twhat happened in this lost island.
This Diary will be your best ally in keeping track of your investigation and fully immersing yourself in the game’s narrative.
🏆 We won the Best in Play at GDC 2025
March was an unforgettable month for us. We had the incredible opportunity to showcase The Occultist at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025, where we met amazing developers and guess what? We took home the Best in Play GDC 2025 award!
