Thank you to our 200,000 Explorers!

Steam Next Fest has officially come to an end, and we are absolutely speechless! Over the course of the event, more than 200,000 brave explorers stepped foot into the cursed jungle of The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu.

Whether you successfully made it back to the galleon with your pockets full of gold, fell victim to the terrors in the dark, or accidentally attacked your teammate because the madness took over: thank you. Seeing so many of you coordinate, panic, and test your sanity together has been an incredible milestone for our team.

The jungle is still calling

We have some great news for those who aren't quite ready to leave the canopy. Even though Next Fest has wrapped up, we are keeping the playable demo active for a little while longer!

Your feedback is the most valuable treasure we can bring back from this expedition. We are already busy analyzing the data and reading your reports to ensure the game is as polished, terrifying, and balanced as possible for release.

What’s Next? The final voyage on July 15th!

Our official launch is just around the corner on July 15, 2026.

We are spending the next few weeks squashing the remaining bugs (including those pesky centipedes!), tuning the sanity systems, and preparing the definitive version of the game.
