The Merchant's Eden changes
Hi, for the upcoming Steam Next Fest I once again invested quite some time to incorporate all the great feedback and comments on the demo. So I am really proud to ship an updated version for the demo bringing a lot of quality of live changes, quite some more transparency and of course also fixes.
Changes
Added a marketplace usage info in the top bar indicating how many stalls of the marketplace are in use.
The top bar now only shows the currently available soldiers that can be placed; the tooltip still offers all information.
Added animations to the barrack that show if a soldier is currently in training.
Barracks now display with an icon if they successfully trained a soldiers.
Hovering on a barrack now displays the progress of the soldier training.
Barracks now have a new default rotation.
New cursor icon for adding soldiers to towers and gates that also indicates if this is not possible.
New cursor icon for placing buildings.
New cursor icon for the delete tool.
Hovering on a field now displays the progress of earning coins.
Adapted tooltip for happiness to better understand impact of town size.
Improved description of barracks.
Improved descriptions for abandoned houses.
Camera rotates now around the view center and no longer around the map center.
Speeded up tool interaction.
Added new sound effects.
Fixes
Fixed issues where no more citizens were spawned after loading a save game.
Fixed issues where the abandoned houses were not correctly counted.
Fixed issue where players could place building on other buildings after loading a save game.
Fixed issue with synchronized coin creation and soldier creation of buildings.
Fixed issue where camera could be moved while in game menu.
Fixed issue where the cursor was not on top of save game cards.
Fixed message queue issues displaying while displaying multiple messages at once.
Fixed issue where unlocked buildings were not directly selectable.
Fixed where glow of a treasures what not removed with the trees.
Fixued issue with the layout of the in game settings view.
