The Merchant's Eden changes
Hi everyone,
the demo is now available on macOS, so Mac players can finally jump in too!
Since the initial release a few days ago I've already been working on improvements based on early feedback. Here's what's changed:
Changes
Player can now shake trees and randomly get rewarded with coins.
Building tooltips now display the required coins for a building, beside the already existing visual indicator in the top bar.
Soldiers can now also be placed on towers while there is an ongoing enemy attack.
The message queue now gives a visual indication when a new message was received and when there are unread messages.
The first merchant arriving now gets a visual indicator to easily find them on the map.
The first enemy arriving now gets a visual indicator to easily find them on the map.
Reduced the time before the first merchant is spawned and the required merchants for initial progression.
Increased the warning timeframe before enemies arrive to give the player more time to react.
Improved tooltips for houses, merchants and the progress bar to make progression more understandable.
Fixes
Fixed visual issues.
Fixed the "missing soldier" indicator not being visible.
