After a successful closed playtest and great feedback from our amazing growing community, it’s time to put The Maker Way in more hands and shape what comes next.

Game Mechanics

Most core mechanics are already in. This playtest will let us see how they hold up before we expand them and add more content.

What’s in now:

  • Machine Design - Use a library of parts to build rovers, drones, and more.

  • Machine Operation - 3D-print the machines you designed and take them into an open world to complete tasks.

  • Resource & Energy Management - Mine resources and produce energy to print more machines and keep them powered.

  • EmoteBase BuildingBuild bases to store resources, extend remote-control range with antennas, and run research on servers.
  • Part Discovery & Research - Research to add parts to your tech tree, and scan parts in the open world to unlock new specs.

Other Mechanics

  • Remote-Control Range — Stay close or extend coverage by building base antennas.

  • Combat — Use weapon parts to fight the three enemies currently on the scene guarding the government base.
