The Maker Way changes
Makers,
This version focuses on several major elements in the game: resource collection, enemy AI and simulation, UI improvements and much more!
Major Changes:
Resource collection - previously disintegrating a pile provided you with all the resources in it even if you only needed a specific resource. Now the piles break down to single resources which allow you to obtain the ones you need.
Disintegration tools - You can disintegrate with the multi-tool and the Disintegrator (which is faster)
Rockets and Laser Capacitors as inventory items - you have to find them and load them onto a machine with relevant weapons
Inventory UI - an overhaul of the UI for the player inventory to accommodate item inventory (rockets etc.)
Structure Energy Management - added an energy screen as a structure element. You can see the energy info for a structure
Research Tree - new research UI which now moved to be part of the Terminal in a unified view
Enemy AI - enemies have multiple charging stations. They will look for the closest one to them that is available. If they run out of energy, they get destroyed
Enemy remains are lootable - any remains provide resources and specifications
Enemy Stations - stations can be destroyed and harvested for resources, while hurting enemy ability to charge
Smaller Changes:
Pinned recipes - pin recipes for tools and machines to know what resources you need to collect
Backpacks as wearables - backpacks are now fabricated and equipped
Terminal UI - updated and simplified UI with add inventory view
Network UI - moved to the Terminal
Minor Changes:
Terrain - small updates to the terrain
Enemy POIs - Parallel HQ gate and loot update. DTHP Radar base minor changes
