While the playtest was originally scheduled to begin on the 14th, we've decided to open the doors early so you can jump in as soon as the weekend begins.

What part of the game is in this playtest?

We're sharing the first 2–3 hours of the game, including the newly reworked Post Office level.

Is this the finished version of the level?

No. This is a very early work-in-progress build, so you may encounter incomplete textures, placeholder art, missing voice lines, and other unfinished elements.

Can I play with a controller?

Unfortunately not. Controller support hasn't been implemented yet, as we're still deep in development. EDIT: Controller support is now available for this playtest!

Can I play it on my Steam Deck?

Not at this time. We're aiming to have the game Steam Deck Verified by launch, but any attempt to run this build on Steam Deck is at your own risk.

Can I invite a friend?

Yes! Everyone who receives access to this playtest can invite one friend on Steam to join them. You can check your invite HERE.

What is different in this playtest from the September build?

The Post Office level has been completely reworked, and we've also made changes to the Inventory UI.

Can I stream/record my playthrough?

Absolutely. We encourage you to stream and create content from your playthrough, as long as you clearly mention that this is a work-in-progress build and not the finished game.

When does the playtest end?

We plan to keep it running for at least one week. We'll share the closing date at least 24 hours before the playtest ends.

Where can I give my feedback on this build?

Once you've finished your playthrough, please fill out the feedback form available in the game's Main Menu. You can also access it here:

We can't stress this enough: your feedback helps shape the game, and we're looking forward to hearing your thoughts and insights.

Good luck — let's get those lights back on!
