addedTo honor both of these new commitments – an expanded vision for the final game and a simultaneous launch across PC, PS5, and Xbox (which is not a simple task, especially with a game of this scale) – we’ve made a decision to shift the release window to 2027. This will give us more time to deliver a story-driven experience that you’ll hopefully remember for years to come.
addedRight now, we’ve opened the sign-ups for a closed Steam playtest of a brand-new, in-development build. This marks a very important milestone for our team, and we’re super stoked about this playtest. Sign up via the Steam page (the shiny green ‘Request Access’ button) and check our official Discord server to find out how the access will be granted.

We’re happy to announce that The Lift is coming to both PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027!

‘Wait a second, you said the game’s launching in 2026 during the reveal last year’ – that’s true! Since our massive reveal and the first public playtest in late 2025, our vision for The Lift has expanded – all thanks to your invaluable feedback. In addition, after analyzing the community sentiment, we’ve set out to release the game simultaneously on Steam and consoles.
